I will stamp all over 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really happening.
