Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad after the controversy from his public comments.
The Fallout
Salah was left out from a key Champions League match following criticising the club and stating his connection to the head coach had deteriorated.
âSalah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,â the midfielder said. âHe apologised to us and was like: âIf Iâve affected anybody, I'm sorry.ââ
The head coach has chosen not to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the squad's reaction remained positive. âHe was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,â the midfielder explained.
He also suggested that a player's desire to start is preferable. âI get that there are different methods you can go about things,â he said. âHowever, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think thatâs concerning.â
